Adult FriendFinder policies are bullshit.

So, my wife and I have a membership at Adult FriendFinder, some friends told
us about the site, and said we should check it out. Ok, so
we sign up. We see somewhere a little advertisment saying
that if we sign up on other sites, post photos, and jump through
a few other hoops, you can accumulate "membership
points" that you can redeem for a free trial membership
of a month of Silver or Gold.

Ok, great. So, we sighn up for some of the sister sites, shooting
for 2200 points so we can get a silver membership. We spend
a couple hours filling out profiles, answering questionaires
and putting some thought into what we say and how we present
ourselves.

We finally get the the 2400 point mark, and decide to get
the Silver membership. Figure, hey, we'll try it for
a month, if it's a good system, and we meet people and
it seems worthwhile to get a membership, we'll send
in a money order and wait the 4 weeks or so to get all the paperwok
done and all that so we can get a proper membership. (Kinda
like taking a car for a test drive to decide if you like it
enough to buy)

Lo and behold, when we go to redeem the points, we STILL have
to pay a $20 USD fee to get a membership, because in order
to redeem the points, you must already be a member, or pay
for a confirm ID via a credit card! And on top of that, to get
the confirm ID, you have to send in photocopies of your drivers
liscense. This doesn't really sit comfortably with
us, because both my wife and I are professionally employed,
and discretion is VERY important to us.

So, here we are, after taking the time to jump through all
of Adult FriendFinder's hoops to earn the points, they have ALL of our
personal information (we submitted everything including
our home address in order to get a confirm ID) and now get
upwards of 75 e-mails a day from all the sites we signed up
for, and are STILL unable to view profiles or interact with
other members of Adult FriendFinder. And I KNOW that Adult FriendFinder makes profit from
all the accounts and "paid per click" and all
that.

So, they got what they want, but we're still on the outside
looking in. Still unable to meet people, still unable to
reply to winks, or view the profiles of those who message
us. It really seems like Adult FriendFinder only gives a damn about profit,
and not pleasing customers. They should make it clear that
no matter what way you look at it, it's gonna cost you
$$ to get in the game. But they don't tell you that until
WELL after they have everything they need and want from
YOU.

We don't have a credit card, as we don't beleive
in them. (Too easy to get behind the 8 ball) So, I guess there's
really no way for us to meet people and partake in the fun,
is there? All the hoops we jumped through was all for nothing.
What a waste of our time and effort.

I'll bet that Adult FriendFinder won't even see this or care what
I have to say, because for every couple like us who are dissatisfied
and irritated, there's 50 people there with their
credit cards out. And that's a shame.

So far, Adult FriendFinder has not impressed us with their misleading advertising,
and shady practices.

Ok, I'm done. :D
