Breaking The Ice
A recent Adult FriendFinder article entitled "Cheesy Pick-Up lines"
reminded me of a study they did on a popular talk-show, I
think it was Oprah, where they sent a guy into a bar with a
microphone in his ear and he had to use whatever pick-up
lines they fed him. He picked out a hot woman and approached,
the line was "Hey baby, whats your sign?" The
test subject was dicouraged at the stupidity of the line,
but of course, went through with it. Amazingly, the pick
up line worked and they had a lovely conversation. He ended
up with a phone number and a date scheduled for later in the
week. Here is the GOOD PART OF THE STORY - the truth is that
BEFORE you ever say a word to anyone, they are checking you
out and deciding if they will talk to you or not, determining
if they want to entertain a conversation with you.. as you
look at them from across the bar or walk over to them, before
you ever open your mouth - they are eyeing you up. What you
say is important, but it is not what decides whether or not
you can break the ice!! So look for a smile or a friendly glance
from some cute girl or hot guy in the bar, grocery store,
or wherever..it is likely an invitation from that person
to come and say anything you want (cheesy pick up lines included)
to get hot times started!! From there you just have to have
a conversation and its sure to go well! Good Luck...
