To wink or message?
OK this has got to be a loaded question for many "male"
attendees to this site. You read many profiles of female
members saying they have received hundreds/thousands
of emails and they will respond in due course when they trawl
through their lists of emails. Yet as males we don't
get the same proportion of responses. Why is this? Can it
be that "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus"
is correct and there is no such thing as female equality.
Women want to be treated as equal yet still want to be chased,
It's easier to be the chasee that the chaser!
Now take my particular circumstance. I have been married
twice now, once to a Dutch girl 7 years younger than and me
secondly to a South African 16 years younger than me. I'm
reasonably financially secure (even after two marriages!)
and at 45 I have to be careful. I want children and that means
choosing a mate of child bearing age (25 to 35) so if I see
a possible canditate I wink them. I don't email because
I think we, as males, are also checking out the other side
of the bargain. If a woman receives a wink and responds they
are showing initiative, spunk, real intentions, etc.
If women are looking for just sex (rare in my experience)
then fine - this site is perfect for that. But (please correct
if I'm wrong) most men over 25 are here to find a soulmate,
a partner, a stable relationship person that they go go
forward with. Unless I'm totally naive guys get fed
up with bar/club trawling eventually and just want to settle
with someone they can share their life with, get some good
sex (very important) and (as I have said) find that soulmate.
So the question - to wink or email? If you are young enough
and are not concerned (because you have easy access to other
female "friends") then email. If you are like
me then wink away and see what happens.
I'm looking forward to receiving responses to this
article because if I'm wrong I'll admit and hold
my hands up and say "I was wrong". I doubt it but
let's see......!
