saying no thanks if you don't like their picture
I am sure many of you have been in this situation. You begin
communication with someone who seems really cool, but
as soon as they send you their picture you are not interested
anymore. What do you do? You're not necessarily being
shallow, but you're just not interested. Here is a
compiled list of options:
1)ignore them after you get the picture. this will look
rude, because it gives the other the impression that you
don't like the picture. yes it's true that you
don't like it, but (maybe i'm being daring here)
you don't want to appear to be rude. you may get a few
e-mails later from that person, asking why you disappeared.
2)tell the person exactly what you think, that they are
ugly and you never want to talk to them again. this is also
rude and if you use that kind of language, you WILL look shallow
3)this is the best option. find at least ONE nice thing to
say about their picture. maybe they have cute eyes. maybe
they have a nice smile or nice hair. maybe they have nice
taste in clothing.
if they send you a picture of their private parts and not
their face, ask for one. if they refuse or don't have
any, then you can say you are more interested in getting
to know THEM not just their dick.
if they keep persisting, asking what else you like about
their picture, just tell them you don't understand
why they are so concerned about that. (you already found
one nice thing about the picture, and you don't owe
them more than that if you don't like them)
after you find that one nice thing to say, keep talking to
them for at least a little bit. attraction doesn't
always happen instantly. maybe that's just a crappy
picture they sent you. if you're still not interested,
and they ask about talking on the phone and/or meeting,
tell them that after getting to know them more you don't
think you are compatible. if they try to get you to go into
the details, you tell them you didn't mean to upset
them, but you're just not interested anymore.
don't apologize either! there is no sense apologizing
when you did nothing wrong. after you take the steps to be
polite, you should be done with it. if someone continously
bugs you, then you can get angry with them. i say angry and
not rude, because you are never the better person if you
are rude to someone. i hope this helps some people out.
