Venue for party
I have done a bit of research and shortlisted a number of
posibilities for county antrim and county down.
I prefer that the meeting take place in either a country
cottage or house in a neutral environment. Costs for such
a house for one night is around 150. Members should decide
if they want a buffet such as sandwiches laid on.
There would be a number of ground rules for everyone so that
there are no misunderstandings.
1. Only those who have a genuine intention of attending
should submit an interest.
2. Members attending should submit a telephone number
so that contact can be made prior to the event. Telephone
numbers will be obtained discretely. Don't bring
un-invited guests. All those listed as couples will be
verified prior to the date.
3. No abuse of alcohol will be allowed. If you can't
drink in moderation, please don't apply to come. Remember
that this is in a country location and a car is essential
not only to get there, but to get home.
4. During the party remember that no means no. If you take
a refusal personally, then perhaps this is not for you.
5. Everyone attending should be respectful to other guests.
Anyone misbehaving will be asked to leave.
6. Everyone should show respect for the property that we
are visiting. It is someone elses. Damage will be paid for
by those damaging anything.
7. Starting time 9pm and terminating time 3am.
8. All costs will be shared by those attending. Costs are
payable on entrance. It is always embarrassing to take
money from someone, hence the reason for getting it out
of the way quickly.
I think the above rules are for the benefit of everyone who
may wish to attend and in no way are intended to restrict
the fun. What we hope to achieve is a group of easy going and
respectful people.
