The Curse of the Net
The Curse of the Net Having been on and off dating sites and
networking sites like this one for the past 2+ years I have
come to the conclusion that there is a Blessing / Curse aspect
to all of this.
The BLESSING is that you can meet some great people from
just about anywhere in the world.
The CURSE is that after forming a friendship and, in some
cases much more, you run smack into the wall of reality.
The reality that you or the other person is not going to hop
on a plane or in the car often enough to truly form the bond
you thought you had developed. You go through the phases
of really thinking you have met someone wonderful to realizing
you will never meet. Depression about it sets in and you
swear off the Net. A couple of weeks later you are back at
it because you are a hopeless romantic and think that the
next time will be different.
It wont.or will it?
