HERPES & BAREBACK
Be very, very careful out there ladies and gentlemen. I
had the opportunity to meet up with someone from this site
for a little "playtime" and it was very nice.
There was only one thing. She had herpes and didn't
know. Now I had the sense to wrap old jimmy up. I did not find
out about it until probably five or six weeks after we hooked
up. Turns out she went to the doctor and decided to have some
bloodwork done to get a clean bill of health and she came
back positive for both HSV(herpes simplex virus) 1 and
2. Now an estimated 80% of the U.S. population has HSV 1 so
it's not that big a deal. She carries HSV 2 but has never
had an outbreak of any sort so she is asymptomatic. In my
research on the subject evidently 1 in 6 adults has HSV 2
and of that percentage an estimated 33% don't even
know.
Now I went and got tested right after she told me and my test
came back negative. I went again two weeks ago (4 months
after hooking up) and my test again came back negative for
both.
I used a rubber and I did not perform oral. These two things
I'm sure made all the difference in the world. I would
encourage anyone who is sexually active to go and get tested.
You can do it in confidence and not even go to the doctor.
The herpes test costs about $100 and you get the results
in 3-5 business days. There is plenty of information out
there on the subject and I would encourage everyone to visit
