What can I do?
How can I get my husband to want sex more than once every week
or two? We have been together for five years, and in the last
year, he has lost almost all interest in sex. He is a wonderfully
attentive, affectionate husband that says he is just tired.
Could this be true?
It is to the point now that the only time we have sex is when
I initiate it. That has gotten old really, really fast.
The man has even turned down oral sex! He does "allow" me
to do this to him, but he has a really hard time getting off
now.
Until now, everything has been fine. We have enjoyed a wonderful
sex life that has been the envy of several of our friends.
We are open and honest with each other concerning our relationship
and fantasies. We have talked and explored several different
things that both of us enjoyed.
There have only been two major changes in the last year.
The first one was a big surprise to me. He finally performed
oral on me! After four years of flat refusing to even discuss
the possibility, he finally agreed. The second one was
a major decision for both of us. We agreed to start living
an open relationship. He has been actively searching for
a girlfriend (with my full support) for about 8 months.
I have had a lover for about the same period of time. Could
this have anything to do with our/his problem of no interest?
ANY help anyone could give me would be most appreciated.
