Not all of us are illiterate or uncaring. Some of us read
the headers, if I don't like yours I probably won't
read the profile. Some of us read the profiles and the "additional
topics" too.
Some of us will not write you unless we think that we seem
to match each others interests.
If the person is no where near a match for you (age, distance,
smoking/drinking, goals, "looking for",
maritial status, or "additional topics")
then I do not see it as being rude if you do not respond. You
have your preferences and should not be required to change
them unless you wish to.
