Frustrated, getting it out of my system....
Okay, all I'm doing here is kind of venting... just
getting stuff out of my system, if you will, and hopefully,
some of you will at least be amused by this! I've been
a member of Adult FriendFinder using one handle or another on and off for
several years, and some things are always the case, no matter
where I am. 1) Way too many freaking FAKES! I know, I should
expect that, and I should even be able to figure out who they
are by now... if it sounds too good to be true, it probably
is, right? I'm still disgusted by them. 2) Way too many
profiles of members who haven't been on the site in
months, if not years! It seems to me Adult FriendFinder should be sending
an email out if someone hasn't logged in after a period
of time saying their profile will be removed if they don't
log in within a certain period of time. 3) Profiles that
are turned off or removed still show up on search results!
If they're turned off or removed, why do they show up
if you do a search? It accomplishes nothing but frustration
on the part of the members. 4) Writing email after email...
With each new area I've lived in, I've had a profile
on here, and I take a LOT of time when I do a profile search,
to read the entire profile before deciding whether or not
I'll write them. When I do write, I ALWAYS respond to
what they've said, telling them how I fit what they're
looking for... and yet, the number of replies are always
low... if not nonexistent. I check here every day for new
members and new entries on my cupid report, so I'll
keep writing, but it's still frustrating. 5) Networks
-- I have 11 people on my network, I've met two of them
in person -- the remainder have never responded to an email
at all! I'm beginning to wonder what the point of the
networks are at all. But I'll keep inviting everyone
I write, I suppose! 6) Testimonials -- from an informal
poll in the Pac NW chat room, it doesn't seem that anyone
reads them! I actually have a good testimonial from a friend
I've made here, but it doesn't do me any good at
all! 7) The Chat Rooms need work -- we need the areas broken
down more by location... and there needs to be a faster way
to add people to the "ignore" list, to boot!
8) There's too many guys like me complaining about
things that they can't do anything about to change!
