Why replies go unanswered
If the replies received match one's requirements
then one should always reply if only to say thanks but no
thanks. However in our experience we find many of the people
replying to our ad have obviously not bothered to read our
profile to see what we are looking for. The impression gained
is that many people take a 'spam' approach; generate
a standard reply, blast it out to as many advertisers as
possible and wait and see if one or more bite. If people cannot
be bothered to take the time to read our profile to see if
we are looking for the same things then we believe it is quite
acceptable to take the line that we are not going to waste
our time replying to their mail to point the discordancies
out to them.
