RE: Warts
You need to do some research before you make your decision.
I have done research on numerous STD's. I have found
that WebMD has a lot of useful information. To get to the
section on Human Papillomavirus (HPV) or Genital Warts,
as it's more commonly known....go to WebMD.com...then
click on WebMC Health....on the left you will see Medical
Info, under this click on Diseases and Conditions...scroll
down the next page until you see Sexual Health...click
on HPV.
If you need additional information...just go to a search
engine and type in "HPV", you will get numerous
hits.
From the research I have done, HPV is the most widely spread
STD out there. Only because a lot of people have no outward
symptoms and are not even aware that they have it.
If left untreated it can cause cervical cancer in women.
Condoms do not fully protect you from getting HPV...a wart
that is not covered can still come in contact with your skin.
"reatment for genital warts does not eliminate the
HPV infection. A person treated for genital warts may still
be able to transmit the infection."
I believe careful consideration should be given to all
the facts before you make a choice that coulc affect the
rest of your life.
I hope this is of some use to you. Be safe and healthy.
