RE: Will HIV be transfered through oral sex?

An article in the Journal of the American Dental Association
(Vol. 118, June 1989) concludes that "saliva from
healthy men, women, and children contained a factor that
inhibits HIV-1 infection of lymphocytes [white blood
cells].
While there is evidence that oral sex carries a very low
incidence of infecting someone with HIV. It is always better
to be safe. There is many studies going right now to prove
that oral sex is a way to infect someone with HIV. so far they
have not been 100% successful in proving it. There have
been a few cases where the only risk was oral sex with same
sex partners but they have not proven totally that that
is how the HIV was contracted. So at this time it depends
on who you ask and where you are reading. The only thing that
has been proven is written above.
